Short Bio:

Nitin Nagarkoti has completed his B.Sc. Physics (hons.) from DDUC college, Delhi University in 2019, and M.Sc. (Tech.) Applied Geophysics from Kurukshetra University in 2022. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the department of Earth Sciences, IIT Roorkee.

Areas of Interest:

Geological Carbon Sequestration, static and dynamic measurements of elastic parameters, rock physics modelling of experimental data, reservoir characterization

RESEARCH STATEMENT

My interest lies in rock physics modeling of changes in elastic properties of basalt after CO2 sequestration. Characterization of change in geophysical properties after sequestration is very crucial for feasibility studies to avoid potential future leakage.
